1. I know the terrain. Although I’m behind the wheel, I’m clear this is YOUR tour. I take the time to know you, your preferences, and the time available. There are many options, but you make the major decisions.

2. It’s your tour. I don’t put groups together. Ideal for two or three people; doable for four or more. Tours are conversational, unscripted, and the landscape exciting.

3. I’m a one-man show. I take responsibility for your enjoyment. I’m not looking to expand, and I’m a people pleaser.

Let me share with you our local galleries, restaurants and points of interest…VentanaBixby Bridge,  the River Inn and Bakery, Nepenthe, the Hawthorne Gallery, the Big Sur Spirit Garden, or McWay FallsIt will be a day that will never leave you! Service is door to door.

My idea of a good vacation is where you go places you normally don’t go, do things you normally don’t do, and learn something new.

“Our family wanted to see Big Sur but my husband did not want to make the drive. He heard it was dangerous and he would miss much if he were driving. Our day with Dave was a highlight of our summer vacation. We got to relax and enjoy the ride. Dave knew places “off the beaten path” we never would have gotten to see without him. We were having such a great time we extended the hours from what we originally planned. We will call Dave again on future visits.”
The Furman Family – Scottsdale, AZ

“Hi Dave! Just to let you know how much we enjoyed the Monterey-Carmel-Big Sur-San Luis Obispo tour with you. Sitting on the wooden chairs with our feet in the river was definitely our idea of a good time. I salute you for the very smooth ride at Big Sur. You handled those treacherous curves with the quiet confidence of a pro.
Thank you for the extra surprises along the way – Morro Rock, Nit Wit Ridge, San Simeon, Cambria, the elephant seals, and the healthy snacks you brought along.
The September 3 2009 trip with you was one for the family archives.

Take care and best regards, Lea Higgins | San Diego

“For first time travelers and those on tight schedules, BigSurToursandMore is perfect. So much more of our beautiful area can be seen with Dave. He knows and appreciates Monterey County and its uniqueness. The Big Sur coast is sure to be a highlight of their trip”.

Dear Dave,

Traveling up the California coast (from L.A. to Hearst Castle and Big Sur) with you as guide, friend, and driver were the two top days of our visit to California. Unbeatable as a way to see the sights without being herded into a big package tour or driving yourself and losing out on all the beauty that surrounds you. A great memory.
